Superior Walls Featured in Southern Building Show Earthcraft/Techhome
Another builder has chosen to use Superior Walls as part of their project. This year’s Southern Building Show will have a house built by Carl Seville, who is one of the country’s foremost green advocates. The nine foot Xi panels built by Superior Walls of Greater Atlanta are part of the Earthcraft/TecHome Showcase House. The showcase house is presented by The Southern Building Show, Green Builder Magazine, and TecHome Builder Magazine, and the show will be taking place on June 20-23 in Atlanta, Georgia.
The new Tudor style home will be replacing an existing pre-war house. The house was designed to use many of the existing housing materials and styling, while providing the amenities that today’s homeowners demand. The entire project will adhere to the principles of green building and the EarthCraft House program.
This will be the 27th year for Southface (a partnership between Southface and the Greater Atlanta HBA), to work with homeowners, homebuilders, commercial designers, and construction professionals on how to save energy, water, and preserve our environment. The EarthCaraft House is one of their crowning achievements. To date, more than 2,000 EarthCraft homes have been certified. Being involved with a project of this magnitude and a design specialist like Carl Seville is a great opportunity for Superior Walls to further our exposure in being considered a green product.
